Single Sign-On with Apple

The introduction of "Sign In with Apple" is a game-changer for Thunkable Creators. This latest feature enables users to create accounts and sign in to apps effortlessly using their Apple ID, offering a seamless and secure login experience. This simplifies the authentication process and enhances user privacy, ensuring their sensitive information remains protected. 

What Does This Mean for You?

If your app already utilizes a third-party or social login service like Google Sign-In, our Single Sign-On with Apple ensures inclusivity and gives users the choice to use their preferred login method.

While implementing this single sign-on it's crucial to remember that it involves a back-and-forth process between your Thunkable project and your Apple Developer account. With this latest feature, Thunkable Creators can enjoy a secure, convenient, and versatile login experience that aligns with the latest industry standards.

Update for One Signal Android Users 

All apps created after September 1, 2023, need to provide updated authentication credentials in order to continue sending push notifications.

What Does This Mean for You?

Push notifications have the ability to convey messages to users even when the app is not actively open. When a user launches an app with push notifications enabled this ensures they stay informed and engaged with your content.

For Android app Creators using OneSignal, it is necessary to provide updated authentication credentials from Firebase for all apps that were established in OneSignal before September 1, 2023. This step will guarantee that push notifications continue to function seamlessly. By keeping your app's push notification system up to date, you foster a richer and more engaging user experience.

Who Is This Available To? 

Push notifications are available to Thunkable Pro, Business, and Team plans. While all Creators can add and test push notifications in their Android apps, only those on these plans can download and publish apps with this feature.
