The Layout Component is Now Aavailable!
Fresh from private testing, the Layout component is now available to all Thunkers using our Drag and Drop builder!
What Does This Mean for You?
This feature, which is similar to rows and columns in our Snap to Place builder, allows Creators to precisely position components within containers. The Layout component is a game-changer for quickly aligning multiple components, defining UI behavior across different screen sizes, and much more!
Learn all about the new Layout component in our docs.
Who Is This Available To?
The new Layout component is available to all our Creators, regardless of their plan! Please keep in mind that this feature is still listed as Beta testing, so please reach out if you have any feedback.
We’d also like to give a special shoutout to our cohort of private testers, who helped us fine-tune the Layout component through all of their amazing feedback. If you’d like to join our group of testers to get access to the newest Thunkable innovations, keep an eye out in the Community for other opportunities!
Take Google Maps to a New Level in Your App
We have added a new capability to the Google Maps block: GeoJSON! With this update, you can now tailor your map experience by using a GeoJSON file to add regions of layered content right within your app.
What Does This Mean for You?
To enhance map experiences for your app users, we are allowing Creators to insert a GeoJSON file within blocks to overlay onto a selected map component. Add geographic data to Google Maps in your app to create engaging and informative map-based applications.
Want to know exactly how this works? Check out our docs.
Who Is This Available To?
Creators on any subscription tier have access to this right in their project. If you would like to elevate your app with this GeoJSON capability and release it to the marketplace, upgrade to the Pro plan and publish to the Google Play Store or App Store.
