Thunkable Joins Florida’s 2026–27 CAPE Industry Certification Funding List

We’re excited to share some big news for Thunkable and app-building education in Florida!

Thunkable has officially been added to Florida’s 2026–27 CAPE Industry Certification Funding List, creating a new state-supported pathway for eligible Florida schools and districts to bring hands-on app building to more students.

For us, this milestone reflects something we’ve believed from the beginning: students should have opportunities to create with technology.

With Thunkable, students can start with an idea and turn it into a real, working mobile or web app. Along the way, they’re solving problems, making design decisions, testing their ideas, and learning how technology works by actually building it.

Now, Florida schools have a new opportunity to make that experience part of their career and technical education programs.

We’re excited about what this means for educators across the state and even more excited to see what their students build.
